Intelligent Ones Community [Feb. 14th, 2004|11:38 pm]
The superior few

I never realized how many people out there had an interest in intelligence. I knew people liked intelligence and competence, but I never knew there was such an interest. I typed in intelligence and intelligent conversation in the interest box in Live Journal today, and I was very surprised at the amount of results I came up with. I never thought that so many other people would put that down as an interest. So I'm making this community for the "Intelligent Ones." It will be nice to just sit back and have a conversation with an assortment of different people. I personally love intelligence, and anyone who is a highly intellectual person. So if you are interested in participating in some intelligent conversation, or maybe just posting a poem, story, or song, feel free. This community is open to be whatever you want it to be. I am looking forward to it. I'd love to learn whatever I can be taught. I'd also like to teach where I can be of some assistance. Hopefully this will really turn into something good.

Challenge Everything.

Where to start...

I too was surprised to find many interested in intelligence. For me, if a day should dare to pass without my learning something new then it would be a wasted day. I am on a constant quest for knowledge and experience, but have memory problems so find that i can forget what i know... interesting. Its an attention deficit thing, and makes life more exciting cos i dont always know if i've done something before. i love watching films over and over again and wondering if just this time it will be different. As a child i was a big football fan, and would watch goals scored then replayed, i could never watch the replay just in case the ball didnt go in the second time. How odd. I still feel this way when watching repeats, still looking for the difference that im sure is there.
Please forgive lack of punctuation and capitalisation, i think with my fingers and they are dyslexic.
